The new session of the Supreme Court starts Monday October 5, and as per tradition they take a group photo at the beginning of it.There's a lot more interest in this year's photo session because of the historic nature of it. For the first time in our country's history a Latina will sit on the highest court in the land.
Doesn't Justice Sonia Sotomayor look lovely in it?
Now we need a Native American justice, an Asian justice, one that GLBT and an African-American female to counteract Injustice Thomas' self hatred.
It'll be even more beautiful when there are more progressive judges and more diversity in future SCOTUS pictures as well and less right wing ones.
