Tank - The Religious Art of Tibetan Buddhism.

Tank or roll - particularly the religious art of Tibetan Buddhism. In ancient India there was a special type of Buddhist portraiture, called Pata (Pata), which was executed on a special fabric (kasaya, outer clothing monk). At the tank usually depict Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, illustrate the lives of the saints and great teachers. Dimensions of the tank vary in size, ranging from a few square centimeters to several square meters.
