Boots & Shoes For Valentine's Day - Romantic Footwear For Men & Women

Christmas is barely over and February is already here. While it may feel like the year has just started, February of course means Valentine's Day. There are a lot of signs that winter is on its last legs and one of them is fashion's color chart evolution from pale, wintry hues to richer, juicier palettes.

It may be strange to say so while it is still unseasonably cold and winter like on the East Coast of the United States. However, from a fashion point of view you can say that the change in colors is fashion's way of heralding the blossoming of spring. However, it could also just be an excuse to bring out the bright and bloody reds - just in time for Valentine's Day.

You may already have noticed the amazing red boots and booties that shoe labels are including in their collections for the start of the season. People can say all they want about the commercialism involved in this business-driven holiday, but this just makes it the perfect time to finally hunt down that perfect pair of red shoes. It is often said that "every woman should own a pair of red shoes", but this is true for men as well. And particularly on Valentine's Day.

If you have already fallen in love with a pair of fire engine red boots that were on sale, trust us, you are not alone. However, while red is obviously very much in season, how red can you go?

If you are concerned, perhaps you should consider a darker, almost brown red. On the flip side, dynamite red on boots can be a color that most women can use to brighten up a drab outfit.

In other words, there is nothing more timely than red boots and shoes on Valentine's Day. However, that does not mean that the footwear can not be worn during the rest of February. While we are waiting for spring to finally arrive, some bright colors can help brighten up the day. Just make sure to pick a warm pair if it is still snowy outside.
