Countdown has begun!
The RUI International Conference is 4 weeks and 5 days away! Plans are being finalized
here in Rockford. Beds are being secured from members of NLBC. Discounts at area
restaurants are being obtained. We are doing all we know to do as we prepare for
you to arrive in Rockford. If you are flying, you really need to purchase your ticket
before Friday to get the best price. Some prices may go down, but most will increase.
If you are driving and have room for one more, sign them up and bring them for this
event! You won't be sorry.
On Monday, September 26, check-in will begin at 1 p.m. We will have light refreshments
and a place to mingle with other guests and some of our staff and students. We are
really anticipating your arrival. Monday night will be a night you will not want
to miss. It will begin at 7 p.m. with an incredible video to begin Adversity University
2013. We, at NLBC and Reformers Unanimous have learned much through this past year
and are eager to share the truths of "Preparing to Unravel the Snare...Everywhere!"
Accommodations for the conference
If you are depending on us to house you, and you have filled out a request on au.reformu.com
under the accommodations tab but have not yet heard from us...WE NEED TO KNOW! Please
email us at deberry@reformu.com [mailto:deberry@reformu.com] so we can arrange your
stay. There was a small "glitch" in our system in the prior to August 16 and we
did not receive all requests.
Conference Transportation
I am happy to announce that Ryan Jiles is our transportation manager for this year's
conference. It is imperative that you make sure you are on his schedule for pick-up
if you are depending on RUI for transportation once in the Chicago-land area. You

Registrations
It is not too late to register, but you sure must be Baptist to the core if you
have not registered by now! J We are approaching deadlines for our banquet number
being submitted. Your help with a timely registration could save us considerable
money. Please take care of your registrations right away. Do so...even by faith!

Western Regional
Thank you for your prayers concerning the Western Regional Conference. So far, we
have started three new chapters, and helped many existing chapters while we were
in California. Our hosts, Pastor John Wilkerson and RU Director Gordon Miller were
excellent. God used them to encourage our hearts and to partner again for this great
cause. Pastor Kingsbury preached a powerful message on Wednesday night. The conference
started on Thursday at 1 pm and lasted until 6 p.m. with several split and combined
sessions. On Friday morning, we continued training until the finale on Friday night.
The testimonies were incredible as we filled the North auditorium of FBC with over
200 in attendance. The First Baptist Church is one of the great churches in our
Nation and Pastor Wilkerson is a man of God with a heart for His people. Gordon
Miller is doing a great job with his chapter. Pray for Bro. Miller has he goes for
dialysis every 3 days. We are asking God to provide a kidney for this dear brother
in Christ.
Pastor and I desire to do several of these conferences in 2012. If you are interested

Prayer Requests:
1. The RUI staff as we meet deadlines in preparation for this year's conference
2. Those who need to attend the National Conference to do so
3. Gordon Miller to receive a kidney for transplant.
4. Director Greg Ziglar asked us to pray as his wife went into emergency surgery
yesterday at 4 PM. She is 30 weeks pregnant.
5. Dr. & Mrs. Ray Borah - These servants of the Lord play an integral part in the
North Love Baptist Bible College.
A Part of the Reception Committee
I recently "tweeted" a line that caused me much consideration. "Concerning the end
times; Christians are not on the planning committee we are on the welcoming committee
- even so come quickly Lord Jesus. I also read a quote that reminded me of my meditation;
"We talk of the Second Coming; half the world has never heard of the first." - Oswald
J. Smith.
I wonder how many well meaning Christians are sidetracked on issues and not doing
the "main thing"? I know over the years of directors who were sidetracked and now
they are sidelined! They are not even in the world of the Lord. Let's keep the main
thing the main thing!! Keep your heart hot for the Lord. Get back in your "It's
Personal Daily Journal. Let's not forget to...rescue the perishing and care for
the dying.
