“They tried to make me go to rehab ... I said no, no, no.”

“They tried to make me go to rehab ... I said no, no, no.”

How appropriate and ironic these Amy Winehouse lyrics are to her current situation. It’s as if she wrote her own fate. Last week, Winehouse was hospitalized for “extreme exhaustion.” In the wonderful world of Hollywood, that can be interpreted as a drug overdose or an excessive amount of alcohol consumption.

In this case, it may mean both. According to British tabloid The Sun, Winehouse was hospitalized after a three-day alcohol and drug binge, which reportedly included cocaine, heroin and, unbelievably, the horse tranquilizer Ketamine.

Rumors of drug and alcohol abuse have circulated the singer after she canceled numerous concerts last month, most recently with the Rolling Stones last week where she was scheduled to be their opening act.

Stay tuned to see if the “Rehab” singer will follow in the footsteps of the celebrities she mocks and seek the treatment she desperately needs. Who knows, maybe she can share a room with Lindsay Lohan, who is reported to be in her third stint of rehab at the posh Cirque Lodge in Utah.
