Michael Sheen Reveals Rachel McAdams Romance
It doesn't get much cuter than this. While making the promotional rounds for the Woody Allen-directed "Midnight in Paris," Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen adorably confirmed the obvious: They're an item.
Tuesday night at a New York screening of the film.
"I don't think it was planned one way or the other," shrugged McAdams, 32, of going public.
The romantic acknowledgement comes just days after the engagement-denying pair walked the red carpet together at the Cannes Film Festival, and about seven months after they were first spied cozying up at the Toronto International Film Festival.
"She's talented, intelligent, beautiful," gushes a smitten Sheen, who has a 12-year-old daughter with former flame Kate Beckinsale. "She's warm and friendly. She's very supportive, and very kind, very funny. She makes me laugh a lot."
Over to you, Rachel: "He's a fantastic actor. One of the best."
As for Woody, he never suspected a love connection between the co-stars, unlike when he directed Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem in "Vicky Cristina Barcelona."
"No, I didn't see it coming," he tells the mag. "I could notice it a little with Penelope and Javier. They were kind of chummy. But I didn't see it coming here ... and they did not ask my permission."
