Javier Sotomayor, a cuban high jumper, cleared 8 feet and a half inch in 1993. As a former high jumper I can tell you that is crazy high. It's basically like jumping over the height of your ceiling. (Avg. living room ceiling is 8 ft)

Globetrotter Michael Wilson

Mike Wilson dunked a regulation basketball on a 12 ft basketball goal. He stands 6'5 and is said to have a 55 inch vertical jump. Debatable but Crazy!

World Record Long Jump

Michael Powell out jumped the great Carl Lewis in 1991 by jumping 29 feet 4 inches, 8 inches shy of 30 feet!!! If you don't think thats amazing, go try to match it. Just try.

Jonathan Edwards holds the World Record for this event. He jumped 18.29 meters, that comes out to 60 feet. If you know how to triple jump, you know how incredible that is.
