SO! Minecraft 1.9 pre-release has come out finally, it's the second part of the adventure update. I would love to include some screenshots from my own Minecraft but the 1.9 per-release and before that 1.8 has been playing up on my laptop and has been very laggy, so sorry.
There was a 1.9 pre-release and then there was a second one, lets talk about the second one.
New Items!
- Nether brick
- Nether stairs
- Nether fences
- Ghast tear
- Blaze rod
- Nether wart
- Golden Nugget
- Glass bottle
- Spider eye
- Fermented spider eye
- Blaze powder
- Magma cream
- And there are 9 new music discs.
New Sounds!
- Minecraft sounds
- Shears sounds
- Additional bow sounds
- Big Slime sounds
- True Endermen and Silverfish sounds.
- Change to rain
- Change to door sounds
- Change to skeletons to make them sounds better.
New Mobs!
- New mob possibly stronger than other mobs, maybe a boss?
- Mooshroom cows, spawn in mushroom biomes
- NPCs finally for the abandoned villages
- Snow golem (crafted)
- Magma cube
- Blaze
There is also animal breeding by giving the animal food, for example, give a sheep wheat and it will enter 'love' mode, get two into love mode and then boom, baby!
There is also a change to the limit of strongholds per map, from three to unlimited!
Minecraft is set to have an offical release date of November 18th, coinciding with MineCon. Anyone here going to MineCon? Comment below.
